New York Severance Agreement Review

A severance agreement is a trade: the employer pays you, and you release your claims. Upload the agreement with your other documents and messages. We will show you what the agreement asks you to give up, flag terms that New York and federal law restrict, and estimate what your claims may be worth before any lawsuit, so you can compare that with what the agreement pays.

Afterwards, you can choose to send your evaluation and documents to an attorney for review. That is up to you.

Step 3 of 3: your documents and messages

Upload anything you would send a lawyer: offer letter, paystubs, reviews, warnings, emails, texts (screenshots are fine), your own notes, and any severance paperwork. Saved emails (.eml), PDFs, Word files, images, and text files work best. Audio and video are accepted but are reviewed separately.

We place a hold of up to $5 on your card. When the evaluation finishes, we charge only its actual cost (computing and payment processing), usually well under $5, and release the rest of the hold. The charge is intended only to reimburse that cost. It is not a payment for legal services and it does not create an attorney-client relationship. If the evaluation cannot be completed, the hold is released and you are not charged. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see your card details.
